Launching in July, Balancing ambition and Balancing ambition for students will offer honest discussions, bringing together voices from across the AAT community and wider to share experiences, challenges, and practical advice you can actually follow. From careers without a straight line, to ethics, AI and everything in between, we’ll be exploring the topics affecting your lives and careers every month, with the aim of helping you achieve your ambitions, whatever they look like. What to expect? Two episodes every month, one dedicated to members and one for students, with content tailored for each audience. Expert guests alongside voices from our community. We’ve listened, now it’s time to deliver Sara Doggett, Reputation, Influence and Brand director at AAT, says that the launch of the podcast is a culmination of extensive research into how our members and students are consuming content. “It’s so important that the content we create for our members meets them where they are, in a way that works for them,” she said. “We all know from our own experiences, that we want information in a shorter, more engaging way. It’s important that AAT adapts to this changing world, and delivers technical, educational and inspirational content in a way that suits them. “The podcasts are just one of the way’s we’re doing that. Across the board we’re creating content that’s delivered across all our channels to reach people in their preferred places. Podcasts are a great way to deliver inspirational stories that can fit around people’s lives – you can listen on the go, read the transcript, watch the video – whatever works for you.” Meet your podcast host AAT’s Zoe Smith will be behind the microphone. With over 18 years of experience in the education sector, Zoe truly understands the ins and outs of the community. Since joining AAT in 2020, her focus has been on working closely with members, students, and key partners. She said: “We’ve got some brilliant guests lined up and I’m looking forward to sharing their insights with our listeners.” Zoe is passionate about listening to audience insights, supporting strategic goals, and bringing feedback back to AAT to help shape and improve the products and services that support the wider community every day.
